BGC callers excel in Central Alabama co mpetition
How do two firsts, three seconds and one third sound to you?
Not a bad day of competitive calling for members of Memphis-based Buck Gardner Calls’ talented group of callers.
It all happened June 23 at the Central Alabama Calling Championships at Wetumpka, Alabama.
Jeremy Romain, using one of BGC’s Kryptonite calls, claimed first-place in the Open Duck Division. He also teamed with Todd Foxx, another of BGC’s young and talented callers, to place third in the 2-Man Meat-Style Duck division (both were using a Sorta Single call).
If that weren’t enough, Romain and BGC’s Rich Wilkes, using Sorta Single calls, claimed runner-up honors in the 2-Man Duck division. Wilkes also placed second in Goose Calling (SS 2 call).
Foxx, not to be outdone, also took first-place in the Goose Open division using a SS 2 call and second in the Open Duck using a BGC Kryptonite.
